Guwahati & Shillong Tour Package

On arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, meet your driver and begin your Guwahati sightseeing, depending on arrival time. Visit Maa Kamakhya Temple and, if time and ferry services permit, Umananda River Island.

Later, drive towards Shillong (approximately 100–110 km; allow around 3–4 hours depending on traffic and stops). En route, stop at Umiam Lake to enjoy the scenic views and take photographs.

After reaching Shillong, check in to your hotel. In the evening, explore Police Bazaar and browse local shops and handicrafts.

After breakfast, leave for Cherrapunjee (Sohra), known for its dramatic cliffs, waterfalls and green landscapes. The drive is approximately 65 km and generally takes around 2 hours, depending on road and weather conditions.

Visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak if not covered on Day 1 and if the route and timing allow. Continue towards Cherrapunjee to explore Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls, subject to weather, access and available daylight.

Enjoy the scenic viewpoints along the way, then return to Shillong in the evening for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. If your departure schedule allows, travel towards Mawlynnong to explore the village and nearby attractions such as the Living Root Bridge, Sky Walk and Natural Balancing Rock, subject to access and available time.

Dawki and Mawlynnong are a considerable detour from Shillong. Visiting both and reaching Guwahati on the same day can make the schedule very demanding, so confirm the route and departure time with the travel team before booking. If your flight or train leaves earlier, a direct transfer to Guwahati is recommended.

Proceed to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Drop-off timing will depend on the final itinerary, traffic and your departure schedule.
